There are famous tourist landmarks that are well-worth visiting however, there are also lesser known places around the world that are also worth the visit. Sometimes, it’s actually better to get lost so you can discover new places.
There’s actually more to the usual Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge or the Vatican. There’s a lot of other secret spots around the world that are also tourist-worthy, but are just waiting to be discovered by you:
10. Huacachina, Peruvian Desert
Located five hours south of Lima, Huacachina is the perfect destination for the adventurous soul. It is a desert oasis that also features a naturally formed lake. Tourists can go on a sandboarding or a dune buggy tour. It’s said to take your breath away.
9. North Sentinel Island
A secret island that is not safe to any human being. Any person who dares approach this island, which features a small narrow beach, is said to be killed. The Sentinelese people have rejected outsiders for the past 60,000 years.
