If you link together all the different bits of information on a subject you’re studying, you’ll get a better grasp of everything. Connecting these together will make the material much easier to remember.
#8. Study by explaining the material to someone out loud.
Without using your notes, explain the information to a study buddy to see exactly how much you really know about the material.
#9. Go through your notes just before bed every night.
Our mind consolidates information as we sleep so the best way to retain information is to study just before bed. Of course, it helps to get a good night’s sleep as our brain doesn’t work as well when we’re exhausted.
#10. Connect specific information to an image or something meaningful.

If you’re having trouble remembering a specific piece of information, it helps if you associate it with a relatable image, a memorable time in your life, or you may even draw a picture of it. This helps you retain the information better.
#11. Draw out your study schedule for each subject over the course of several days.

Our memory of something declines over a day or so, that’s why it’s best to do practice tests over an extended time period. This way, you’ll know which parts you need to review more just before the exam.
