How would you react if you found these in your house?
How would you react if you find several snake skins in your house? Would it scare you? Well, this family from Australia actually discovered more than 50!
According to reports, a snake catcher made the terrifying find last May 4, Tuesday, during a routine roof inspection at the home of a family from Rocksberg, Queensland.
Apparently, Dave of Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers was called to see if there were any serpent problems in the house. He instead saw over 50 snake skeletons!
The company’s Facebook page later shared that the snake catcher “brought down over 30 snake skins out of the family’s roof space, and there was probably another 20 skins up there.”
However, no snakes were spotted in the home.
“Dave has seen plenty of skins left in people’s roofs before but nothing like this,” pointed out Stuart McKenzie, another snake catcher.
While most would be left shocked by the sheer number of skins found there, some actually felt a bit of excitement.
“The kids at the house loved it and had plenty of questions to ask Dave about snakes,” continued Stuart.
According to the team, the snake skins probably belonged to non-venomous serpents such as carpet pythons or common tree snakes.
“Snakes spend a lot of time in roof spaces because there’s lots of food up there like rodents,” said Stuart. “It’s rare you’d get a brown snake or red belly in your roof. As long as they’re not making a ruckus, they’re usually pretty good.”
