Valentine’s day just passed by the corner. It’s one of the celebrated days across the globe. Men would buy their ladies some chocolates and flowers. Well, women mostly enjoy this day. For men, however, another not-so-well-known holiday is as exciting as any other holiday.

March 14th holiday is actually the “Steak and Blowjob Day”, which is dubbed as Valentine’s day for men. As the name implies, it’s just simple – steak and a blowjob. There are no fancy dinners, expensive flowers, and mouth-watering chocolates. Does this show how men want it- simple and straightforward?

In fact, Steak and Blowjob Day, also called Steak or Knobber Day or Steak & BJ Day, is a satirical holiday. It originated in the United States to celebrate men’s Valentine’s day, which is celebrated a month after hence it’s date – March 14.

WTF is Steak and BJ Day?

Some say it was invented by the Romans in 269 AD and institutionalized through St. Valentine’s cousin, Claudius Fellatio. Others suggest that when World War II ended in 1945, president Harry S. Truman had the FBI covertly spread the word to act as a “welcome home” for the troops. All we know, really, is that Steak and BJ Day is pretty damn awesome.

The overarching theory is one of “Man’s Valentine’s Day.” You know the drill. Every 14th of February men get the chance to display their fondness for a significant other by showering them with gifts, flowers, dinner, and many other romantic baubles. They rack their brains for that one special gift that will show their spouse that they truly care.

But Valentine’s Day SUCKS. It’s a soulless, capitalist creation to eek extra cash from consumers – just for putting a lick of red paint on cards/chocolate/flowers. What’s really needed is some quality time with your partner (and it’s far cheaper)!

March 14th henceforth became “Steak and Blowjob Day.” Simple, effective and self explanatory. No gifts, no cards, no trinkets, no special nights on the town; the name explains it all: just a steak and a BJ. That’s it.

Who wouldn’t want the idea of having your girlfriend or wife cook your favorite steak and go down on you on this special day?

This day is the chance to celebrate after showing your fondness and sweetness to your girl a month before.

The event’s donations will be given to Coppafeel, a charity created to raise breast cancer awareness, fight cancer and save the lives of the 1.7 million women diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
