Located in southeast London, the Hemsley Conservation Centre is letting anyone do exactly that for the price of £1.50 (or about US $2). If you are still carrying a grudge against your ex flame, this might sound really appealing for you.

In the information provided by the zoo in their website, we read this:

“For those that don’t quite require revenge, there’s another way to make you feel better about getting back at your ex this Valentine’s Day.

“The HCC is offering the chance to name a cockroach in honor of your friend’s worthless ex-“someone” on this special holiday of love.

“We are highlighting these creatures through our ‘name a cockroach programme’ (we think adopt is a little too strong, after all – you probably don’t want to adopt your friend’s ex) to raise money for our projects at the zoo.”

So yes, the program is not merely for the spirit of bitterness but also for a good cause since the cash raised will be used for future projects.

Moreover, we also learn that the names will be listed on a board next to the cockroach enclosure in the zoo plus donors will be receiving a certificate that says “I’ve named a cockroach at the Hemsley Conservation Centre in the not so loving memory of my worthless ex!” along with a half-price discount entry to the zoo.
