Here’s How Much the Game of Thrones Stars Make Per Episode!

Unless you’ve been living under a massive rock, you must be aware that Game of Thrones is the biggest TV show on the planet right now. With the show being such a media juggernaut and with millions of viewers all over the world, it won’t come as a surprise that its stars are getting paid oodles of money for their hard work.

Just how much are they earning anyway? TV shows such as these pay their actors per episode. Game of Thrones has 7 seasons in the belt so far, with the 8th currently airing. Each season has around 10 episodes. So do the math and just imagine how much these actors are earning.

Kit Harrington as Jon Snow – $500,000

As one of the show’s major stars, it’s a no-brainer that Kit is earning a cool half a mil per episode. He’s been here since the first season and continues to play Jon Snow in the current season.

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen – $500,000

Of course, the Mother of Dragons is definitely earning as much as Jon Snow. Another star who’s been with the show since the very beginning and has turned into one of the show’s major characters, her paycheck should be as massive as her co-star.

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister – $500,000 each

What’s GOT without the Lannister siblings? The three also belong to the top-tier of the paygrade scale, earning as much as Kit and Emilia. Like the two above, these Lannisters have been with the show since Day 1 and are still prominent characters in the current season.

Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth – $300,000

He may be a minor character compared to the actors above, but still Liam earns 300 grand for his role as Sir Davos. Probably because Liam is already a veteran actor with an impressive track record.

Maisie Williams as Arya Stark – $100,000 – $200,000

The spunky Stark sister has become a massive fan favorite and one of the major players of the current season. She belongs to the third tier when it comes to pay level and some fans think that Maisie totally deserves more.

Rory McCann as The Hound, Iain Glen as Jorah Mormont, Aidan Gillen as Littlefinger, and Conleth Hill as Lord Varys – $100,000 – $200,000

The Hound, Sir Jorah, Littlefinger, and Varys also belong to the third tier level, just like Maisie Williams.

Isaac Hempstead Wright as Bran Stark, John Bradley as Samwell Tarly, and Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy

Isaac must be the lowest earning Stark in the group, but you have to remember that his screen appearances have been limited compared to his “siblings.” The same also goes for John, who plays Jon’s faithful sidekick Samwell Tarly.

Surprisingly, Alfie Allen also gets a lower rate for playing the tortured Theon Greyjoy. A little unfair, don’t you think?
