Qatar 2022 World Cup Stadium Is Finally Complete And It Looks Like A Giant Female Genitalia

Qatar has opened its new stadium ahead of the 2022 World Cup tournament. The Al Wakrah stadium will be hosting matches until the quarter-finals. The massive venue can hold up to 40,000 people. While it looked cool at first glance, any discerning human will be quick to recognize that the building looks like an enormous vagi na.

The Al Wakrah stadium had been ridiculed by football fans. Dame Zaha Hadid was the designer of the 2022 World Cup venue. The British-Iraqi architect suddenly passed away of a heart attack in 2016. She was 65 years old.

Hadid first revealed the designs of the 2022 World Cup stadium in 2013 and they were instantly mocked for looking like female genitalia. She actually had based her design on the shape of a traditional Qatari dhow boat, and amid the first round of mockery six years ago, she was none too pleased with how people interpreted her work.

She said at the time:

“It’s really embarrassing they come up with nonsense stuff like this. What are they saying? Everything with a hole in it is a vag ina? That’s ridiculous.”

Hadid is a respected designer. She also had worked on many popular buildings all around the world, so she is not very happy with all the mean comments.

She said:

“If a guy had done this project there wouldn’t have been the same level of criticism.”

Al Wakrah will also use a revolutionary new air-conditioning technology to bring temperatures down to around 72F for fans and players.

As part of the tournament’s legacy, when the 2022 World Cup is over, the top tier of the stadium will be dismantled and shipped to the developing world.

The venue dubbed the “vag ina stadium” is the first to be completed from scratch ahead of the tournament.
