With Spider-Man: Far From Home officially capping off Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are now eagerly looking forward to the future. Suffice it to say that things will never be the same again after Thanos happened.

So what will happen next in the lives of our favorite superheroes? And will we meet new heroes and villains soon? And how can Marvel Studios even attempt to top Avengers: Endgame?

While the company is still mostly staying mum at the moment about the future of the MCU, Disney has already confirmed that there will be 8 upcoming movies from Marvel within the next 3 years.

In an official announcement, Disney Studios has dropped the release dates of 8 untitled Marvel films.

According to reports, the release dates for the yet untitled Marvel Phase 4 projects are as follows:

  • May 1, 2020
  • November 6, 2020
  • February 12, 2021
  • May 7, 2021
  • November 5, 2021
  • February 18, 2022
  • May 6, 2022
  • July 29, 2022

So yes, that’s the good news for the fans: Marvel doesn’t have any plans of slowing down anytime soon and will still give us 2 to 3 blockbusters from 2020 to 2022.

While the official movie titles have yet to be revealed, we know for certain that hit movies Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Dr Strange are most likely getting their highly-anticipated sequels within Phase 3.

We also know Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow origin movie is coming soon and rumors say filming will start this summer. Plus despite his previous firing because of his controversial tweets, James Gunn has been re-hired by the studio and is definitely returning in the director’s chair for the third time to work with the cast and crew of Guardians of the Galaxy – most likely after he finishes his work for DC’s Suicide Squad sequel.

It’s also possible that we’ll get a third Spider-Man movie within these next 3 years. Of course, it’s also worth-noting that new franchises The Eternals and Shang Chi are currently in various stages of development.

That said, it would be a missed opportunity if Marvel fails to add Fantastic 4 in their list of upcoming films, especially since they’ve already acquired the movie rights upon Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox.

#FantasticPhase4 has a nice ring to it, right? That would be pretty exciting!
