Loyal Dog Patiently Waits By His Owner’s Hospital Bed, Not Realizing He’s Gone Forever
- In a hospital, a sad pup waited beside a bed in hopes that his owner would return.
- Unfortunately, Moose’s owner had passed away but the loyal dog continued to wait.
- Moose’s picture was shared on social media where people immediately fell in love with the sweet pooch.
People will mourn for their loved ones when they pass away. However, your most loyal companion might not understand what is happening right away. One sweet dog was seen patiently waiting beside his owner’s hospital bed for a long time. Unfortunately, the pup was not aware that his dad is never coming back.
The photo shows Moose, a three-year-old Labrador mix from New Jersey as he patiently waits beside his owner’s hospital bed. Unfortunately, Moose’s owner had passed away, leaving the sad pup alone in the world. However, some people decided to take his picture in hopes that Moose will find a new family that will take care of him.
NorthStar Pet Rescue decided to share Moose’s photo soon after the dog was taken by Eleventh Hour Rescue in Randolph, New Jersey. They also posted some information about Moose in hopes that people would be interested in taking in the sad pup.
“Please help Moose find a new home and a family for him to love. He’s a sweet happy boy by nature. He just needs people to help his heart heal,” they wrote. “He is a 3-year-old Lab mix who is housebroken, adores kids, okay with dogs (pretty much neutral to them), but not meant for a home with cats or birds. But people, boy, does he love them! So much so that Moose would do best in a home where he wasn’t left home alone all day long, he misses his people too much.”
Not surprisingly, the post immediately got the attention of hundreds of people who were eager to adopt Moose. Just a few days after the picture was shared, the pup found his forever home.
“MOOSE HAS BEEN ADOPTED by a wonderful family who will care for and love him for the rest of his life! Thank you again to everyone who shared his story!” they wrote.
Moose may have found a loving family but there are still hundreds of equally loyal dogs out there who need your help. Make sure to check your local shelters if you’re interested to adopt a pet.
