Christian Bale Will Be The New Villain for Thor 4

• Christian Bale is set to star as the villain for Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder.
• The fourth movie in the franchise, the new Thor film will once again be directed by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).
• The upcoming superhero blockbuster is scheduled for a November 2021 release.

It seems Batman has indeed lived long enough to be a villain – a Marvel villain, at that! According to reports, Christian Bale has signed up to be the big baddie in the upcoming movie Thor: Love and Thunder.

This has recently been confirmed by Tessa Thompson in an Entertainment Tonight interview as the actress shared she has already read the script for the fourth Thor. And yes, she said Bale is set to be the film’s big bad!

Enter Christian Bale: From a DC hero to a Marvel villain.

Bale, who has previously starred as the caped crusader in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is set to switch sides over at Marvel with this new role.

Now fans couldn’t wait to find out which comic book antagonist he will be playing.

Meanwhile, director and writer Taika Waititi described the upcoming sequel this way:

“If you take Ragnarok – which I feel was a very big, outlandish, bombastic film – we’re trying to double down on everything we did with that and create something that’s more crazy, more fun, and even more of a big, big adventure.”

Thor: Love and Thunder movie will feature cast members Chris Hemsworth as Thor with Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. It has also been previously announced that Natalie Portman will be returning to the franchise in her role as Jane Foster.

This time, she will also be wielding the Mjolnir, Thor’s mystical hammer.

The highly-anticipated superhero blockbuster is part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4 and is expected to hit theaters by November 2021.
