Marvel Stars Unite To Send Sweet Messages To Young Terminally Ill Fan
The Avengers, Deadpool, and even Wolverine have come together to support a young terminally ill fan. The Marvel stars have sent out amazing messages of support for a little boy who only has a few months to live.
Josh, the young fan who has always loved superheroes, has been battling with all kinds of illnesses since he was five years old. Unfortunately, the boy only has a short time to live but that hasn’t stopped him from trying to get the most out of life. His bucket list includes getting as many messages from the actors who play his favorite superheroes.
Little Josh wants to meet his heroes or at least get some messages from the actors.
Ryan Reynolds, who called himself “Uncle Deadpool,” was one of the first celebrities to send a video.
Reynolds summed it up perfectly in his message to Josh.
“I know that you’re a Deadpool fan and a superhero fan, and I think that’s amazing. I also think it’s kinda funny for one particular reason … After hearing about you and your story, it’s pretty much a fact that you have more courage and more strength in your pinky finger than any superhero does in their entire body. We love you, I love you, we’re thinking about you, Deadpool is thinking about you – maximum effort and hang in there, buddy.”
Spider-Man star Tom Holland said, “I just want to let you know that I’m thinking about you, everyone at Marvel’s thinking about you, and we send you all our love.”
Chris Pratt of Guardians of the Galaxy sent a sweet video for the young boy.
The real Peter Quill also had a sweet video for the young fan, telling him, “I’m praying for you and your mum, and just want to say I want you to be strong.”
“For what it’s worth, I play Star-Lord in the movies and play a hero, but I think real heroes are young people like you who have to face challenges and do so with the bravery that I heard you do.”
Logan actor Hugh Jackman said he is “sending lots of positive thoughts.”
Chris Evans said Josh is even stronger than Captain America himself.
Thor: Ragnarok‘s Chris Hemsworth is the latest star to send Josh a video.
Hemsworth told his fellow Aussie, “You’re a legend, I heard all about your story. I wanted to send all my love and all my support.” The Avengers: Infinity War star also stated that Reynolds was right about Josh. “You’re the real hero, pal,” he said. “So we’re all thinking of you, from all four corners of the globe.”
