10. Salon Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil-sur-Oger (1.5 Liter Magnum) 2002 — $899

It’s the only Champagne from the label and it’s made with a precise blend of Chardonnay grapes harvested from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, France. Yes, it even sounds expensive!

As for the flavor, it’s described as mixed “flavors of honeyed orange flower, candied citrus fruits, and madeleine buns fresh from the oven.”

9. Champagne Krug Vintage Brut (1.5 Liter) 1988 — $949.99

The Krug 1988, which is made by the only Champagne house that ferments their wine in small oak casks, is aged for ten years to achieve it’s complex palate. Its fresh taste has “spiced notes of dried figs and ripe quince.”
