Alzheimer’s is quite a horrible disease that affects millions of people and their loved ones. The world calls it a disease with no cure because no scientific studies have become successful in finding the right antidote for it. Hence, regardless of what machine you will use or medicine you will give, that person will surely not be cured. But should we lose hope? Of course not! There are other ways that we can help them cope up with their sickness. We might not be able to help them physically but we will surely help them give meaning to their lives again! That is what is important. Let them feel that there is still life despite of their health conditions.

Here’s one particular research on music that somehow could be one of the answers to all our worries. Such research has given back life again to the patients especially old people who are already prone to diseases and sickness. With this experiment, it was found out that music has a great connection to humankind. It basically touches the heart and soul of every person.

This documentary reveals the uniquely human connection we find in music and how its healing power can triumph where prescription medication falls short. This stirring documentary follows social worker Dan Cohen, founder of the nonprofit organization Music & Memory, as he fights against a broken healthcare system to demonstrate music’s ability to combat memory loss and restore a deep sense of self to those suffering from it. Rossato-Bennett visits family members who have witnessed the miraculous effects of personalized music on their loved ones, and offers illuminating interviews with experts including renowned neurologist and best-selling author Oliver Sacks and musician Bobby McFerrin.
