He Found Out His Wife Was Dying So He Photographed Her Every Step Of The Way.

In this day and age, I assume most people know what cancer is.

This debilitating and life-threatening disease can cause great physical, emotional, and psychological effects. To anticipate the pain and to know that your life now hangs in a balance—imagine how difficult that must be for them to accept that. No one else will truly understand the fears and the pain but the patient alone, and, of course, those who were fortunate to survive the battle.

Photographer Angelo Merindino discovered that his wife, Jennifer has cancer. So he decided to document (with her consent) her battle against the disease. The results of her photographic story, as captured by Angelo, were so captivating and moving.

The series of compelling pictures below allows us to see Jennifer’s every day struggles as she deals with cancer and the side effects of treatment.
