If you love cats, better start saving up for a trip to Hawaii to visit their cat sanctuary!
Almost everyone who loves cats has heard of the cat island in Tashirojima, Japan. But did you know that there’s also a cat sanctuary in Hawaii where you can hang out and cuddle with the kitties?
The sanctuary in the island of Lanai is home to almost 500 cats, and people travel from all the corners of the world to visit. Visitors can pet all the cats located in the 25,000 square foot sanctuary. The cats are free to roam around and explore every area of the sanctuary.
If you happen to fall in love with any of the kitties, you can also either foster or adopt them. And if a cat doesn’t get adopted by anyone, they’re absolutely free to live out the rest of their lives in the sanctuary.
Visitors can visit the cats between 10am and 3pm every day.
