Yes, you've been doing it wrong the whole time!
It’s one of those times that can best be described as a lightbulb moment. You know, that second you realize there’s an easier, faster way of doing a thing compared to how you’ve always done it.
I’m talking about this video I recently came across on social media. The short clip totally proved that I’ve been using the can opener the wrong way the whole time. Chances are, you’re probably doing it incorrectly.
In the said video, we can hear a guy instructing the girl holding a can opener to “just show the regular way, the first way, how we all do it.” She went ahead and proceeded as instructed, demonstrating how most of us use the kitchen tool.
Shortly thereafter, she was then asked to “show how it should be done” and then boom! It surely felt like a sudden, mind-blowing revelation to many, including me. I totally had no idea it’s possible to use a can opener that way and that doing so can leads to faster, easier, and definitely more precise results!
The video, uploaded on Facebook by Jamal Peters, has since generated millions of views, along with several thousands of shares and comments.
One netizen joked, “I feel like I need to restart my life” while another wrote “Why am I just now figuring out this simple thing in life? I feel like I need to surf the net more often.” Others even compared the hack to “witchcraft” and “sorcery.”
Well I’m definitely giving this a try in the kitchen tonight. I have a feeling this trick would be pretty useful!
