To stay healthy, experts say an average adult needs at least 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep each night.

The unfortunate fact, however, is that so many of us are failing to get adequate amount of rest. Countless adults are having struggles with having quality sleep at night and are experiencing negative consequences because of it.

Besides, doctors are telling us that sleep deprivation may lead to different health problems such as depression, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, weakened immune system, weight gain, and many others.

Now for those experiencing sleeping difficulties, there are various solutions to try out. Some go as far as taking sleeping pills but in case you prefer an all-natural treatment, then the banana tea is for you.

What’s a banana tea, you ask? And how do you prepare it? Read on and we’ll teach you!

All you will need is some organic banana, a pot of water, and cinnamon.

First off, you will need 1 organic banana, a pot of water, and some cinnamon.

Once you have everything, boil a pot of water and then cut the ends off of the banana. Peel it and then drop both the banana and the peel in the water and leave them there for at least 10 minutes. After that, use a colander to strain the water and pour it into a mug. Add some cinnamon. Drink it before going to bed.

Be reminded, however, that you really have to make sure that you are using an organic banana for this tea. The peel should be free from any chemicals and pesticides, especially since you will be drinking it’s liquid.
