Dads Take Up #CherrioChallenge To See Who Can Stack More Cereal On Sleeping Babies

We’ve heard all sorts of crazy challenges on the internet (such as the stupid Duct Tape Challenge and China’s A4 Waist Challenge) but here’s one that truly sounds silly fun to my ears.

Recently, daddies everywhere are taking up the Cheerio Challenge which shows them stacking up pieces of the cereal on their sleeping children. Hilarious, right?

This craze was started by the “Life of Dad” blog when they posted a photo of a sleeping baby with 5 Cheerios on his nose. They wrote on their Facebook page: “Can you top 5??? Prove it when you do.”

That simple post then took life on its own as thousands commented on it and hundreds took up the challenge right off the bat.

According to Patrick Quinn, Life of Dad founder, he came up with the idea while he was playing with his three-week-old child. Just for fun, he put one Cheerio on his nose and tried to put more. The rest, as they say, is history.
