Chris Hemsworth’s Newly Renovated Mansion May Be Bigger Than Avengers’ Headquarters

A god like Thor needs a huge palace, and that’s exactly what Chris Hemsworth is having built for himself and his family. In 2017, the “Avengers: Endgame” actor began renovations on his dream house in Bryon Bay, Australia, and after two years, the $9 million mansion is almost complete.

After getting approval from Bryon Shire Council in March 2017, Chris began knocking down the house he bought and rebuilt it. The humongous building has drawn a comparison to the Avenger’s headquarters with its size and concrete look.

The unbelievably huge house sits on 4.2 hectares of land and oversees the Seven Mile Beach, which offers the serenity that Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky have always wanted. It also boasts intricate landscaping and lush palm trees dotted around.

Other than resembling the Avenger’s headquarters, the structure has been likened to a factory, shopping center, hospital, and even an airport.

And as the development nears completion, extraordinary new aerial photos reveal the property is only getting bigger by the day.

The “Avengers: Endgame” star’s property will reportedly feature a gym, steam room, media room, game room, six bedrooms, and modern appliances. But the main attraction is thought to be a colossal infinity pool on the roof of the home.

Chris and Elsa share three children together, daughter India Rose, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha. They left California for Byron back in 2015. Their move, however, received mixed reactions.

While some locals are fine to have the “Avengers: Endgame” actor in the area, others are said to be annoyed at the influx of celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Matt Damon, Naomi Watts, and Olivia Newton-John.

But real estate expert Nerida Conisbee believed that the presence of Chris Hemsworth and his family in the area will boost the local economy.

She said:

“There’s always been a lot of celebrities who have loved living up in that area but they (the Hemsworths) are very high-profile and they are giving the area a very high profile as well. This would definitely be pushing Byron Bay up the list in terms of international visibility.”
