If you're a frontliner, you can even send them a request for a free pair.
As coronavirus continues to spread across the world, our heroic healthcare workers are doing their very best to lead the battle against the disease. These frontliners are bravely helping communities contain the spread and we just couldn’t help but feel grateful for every bit of support that they receive.
Case in point, Crocs recently stepped up and announced that they are donating footwear for these modern day heroes. According to the company, they will be giving 10,000 footwear every day for medical professionals.
According to Andrew Rees, CEO of Crocs:
“Over the past week, we have spoken to healthcare workers, their facilities and even their family and friends, and they have specifically asked for our shoes in an effort to provide ease on their feet, as well as ease of mind as they need the ability to easily clean up before they go home to their families.”
The company also mentioned that the giveaway duration will be based “on our level of inventory and the amount of requests we receive,” Ress shared, saying they are just “humbled” to be able to help frontliners in their own way.
As of this writing, the shoe manufacturer is already sending shoes to hospitals and other medical facilities. In addition, they are also accepting direct requests from health workers who want to get a free pair (with free shipping) for themselves.
“If you’re a healthcare professional in need of our easy-to-clean, comfortable Crocs shoes, we’ve got you taken care of,” the company said.
