Bride Who Loves “Little Mermaid” Stunned When Dad Brings Real Ariel To Wedding

A lot of women dream about their wedding day since they were little girls and let’s face it: most of these imaginations and ideas definitely had a Disney-theme in it.

For one particular bride, Krysten Green, her all-time favorite Disney animated film is “The Little Mermaid.” Although she had a beautiful traditional wedding, her dad didn’t want to end the ceremony without incorporating the 1989 movie in the event. That’s when he found the best wedding gift for his beloved daughter.

During the wedding toast, Krysten’s dad Bob talked about their love for all things Disney. After donning a pair of Mickey Mouse gloves and making an impression of the character, Bob asked his daughter, “What is your favorite Disney movie?” Krysten responded, “The Little Mermaid.”

That’s when Bob escorted Jodi Benson inside the reception hall. While the groom, Chris Rowe, appeared to be clueless as to who the lady his father-in-law was with, Krysten knew exactly who it was.

Bob told the audience:

“So, for anybody that doesn’t know, Jodi Benson is the voice of Ariel from The Little Mermaid.”

Benson congratulated the couple, hugged the bride and shook the groom’s hand. Clearly, this was the moment when Krysten became “the girl who has everything.”

Before she began singing, Jodi Benson said the New Jersey wedding party that this is the first time she was invited to sing at a wedding that’s not part of her family. The Disney legend sang “Part of Your World” from the bride’s favorite Disney film.

Meanwhile, Krysten was visibly stunned but was singing along all the way.

You can tell that the bride was totally surprised. Her father obviously kept this an enormous secret.

This is another example that dads would do anything to make their daughters happy. Just look at the way Bob looks at Krysten.
