South Korea Established ‘Death Experience’ Schools for Suicidal People
The students will then compose a letter or write a will for their families, which they will read aloud to the group afterwards. With this, the students will be able to ponder on the consequences of committing suicide including the grief their families might feel.
When the hour of death comes, a person dressed as the “Korean angel of death” will enter the room. The students will lie again in their coffins.
And the angel will lock them inside
For at least 10 minutes, there will be nothing but darkness
Alone, inside their wooden coffins, they will be able to “contemplate life from an outsider’s perspective,” the Daily Mail reports.
Apparently, students emerge from the experience feeling “refreshed” and “liberated” from their anxieties.
Afterwards, the head of the center would state, “You have seen what death feels like, you are alive, and you must fight!”
