Do You Act Like an Idiot at the Restaurant? Find Out Here.
11. Asking how much to tip
There’s a mobile app for it! You don’t need to ask your server how much to leave as gratuity. It lacks decency and propriety.
12. Stuffing napkins in your glass or cup
Aside from it looking gross, it doesn’t actually help the dishwashers with their job.
13. Eating half of the meal and then sending it back
Aside from this being rude it is also utterly and downright show of the lack of good manners.
14. Rushing your order
You know what they say, “If you want a good meal, you need to wait”.
15. Asking if the gluten-free items are really gluten-free
If the menu says the dish is gluten-free, then it is gluten-free. If you’re not really allergic and still ask, you must have a really big problem.
16. Name dropping the chef
Saying you know the chef doesn’t get you free dinner nor better food.
17. Asking questions servers can’t answer
It isn’t actually the server’s fault if he doesn’t know if which farm the chicken used for your dish came from.
18. Asking the server personal questions
You just don’t have the right to know, that’s all.
19. Asking for second helpings on free bread
No one should be doing that ever. If you’re getting only a basket of free bread be satisfied with it.
20. Assuming anyone in a tie is a restaurant employee
Save yourself the embarrassment of snapping your fingers at a hotshot lawyer instead of the waiter.
If you checked any one of the above, you might want to start rethinking your actions before people assume that you’re idiotic and without any manners.
