"We don't deserve dogs. 4 months old and she's already showing empathy."
It’s normal for most of us to get a bit emotional when we’re watching sad movies. But have you ever seen a dog react in such a way? No? Well now you will!
This is the heartwarming moment when a puppy started to cry and whimper while watching Disney’s 1994 animated classic Lion Kin during the scene where Mufasa fell to his death after being thrusted into a wildebeest stampede by his brother Scar.
According to pet owner Josh Myers of Chattanooga, Tennessee, the puppy was simply playing with her toys but immediately stopped during the scene. He started paying attention and became silent as he watched what was happening onscreen.
Josh shared:
“So Hannah and I were watching the Lion King while Luna played wildly with her toys. But right as Mufasa falls to his death, she stops and turns to the TV to watch.”
“To see her crying at the TV was the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen,” continued Josh. “She even lays down right after Simba lays with his dad.”
“We don’t deserve dogs. 4 months old and she’s already showing empathy. To see her crying at the TV was the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen,” added Josh.
Not surprisingly, the video gained a lot of attention online and netizens couldn’t help but fall in love with the adorable Luna. The story even made it to various news sources such as Metro, among others.
