The face is eerily luminescent and has two dark 'eye holes'. Some observers noticed two hair buns. Others said its horns.
At first glance, Kim Davison’s family portrait taken while swimming at Lockyer River in South-east Queensland seems quite normal. But after taking a closer look at the photo, you’ll probably notice something creepy about it.
The mother from Queensland, Australia claimed that only three children were with them on the day of the incident. But the picture shows a fourth “child” with an “eerily luminescent face and two dark eye holes”.
Davison consulted two paranormal experts to investigate about the fourth “child”. According to the experts, the fourth face in the background belongs to a 13-year-old girl named Doreen O’Sullivan who drowned in the actual spot in 1915.
Believing that an angry paranormal being was with them at the lake , Davison narrated some strange occurrences which happened on that day. Her daughter’s legs, according to Davison, were apparently grabbed two times by something in the water.
The spine-tingling photo was also shared by Davison on the Facebook page of ‘Toowoomba Ghost Chasers’. Members of the group were able to uncover a newspaper clipping of Brisbane Courier which detailed the teenager’s death.
While some commenters believe that the fourth “child” in the photo really belongs to Doreen, others pointed out that the ghost-like image was actually produced by a light flare.
‘”Light flare will always show up as black shadowing when the photo is inverted.. and in this case the light flare is coming from full sunlight reflecting off the water onto the child,” said one admin of the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers Facebook page.
What’s your take about this photo? What could be your possible explanation regarding this spine-chilling phenomenon? We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the comment section below.
