The world economy explained with just two cows
For many of us who aren’t politically or economically inclined, it is quite difficult to explain – let alone understand – how different economic models work. One can easily get lost in all the jargon and reading through an economic report can leave a person scratching his or her head in confusion.
How do you simplify economics, then? The answer is easy – use cows.
In this series of photos circulating online, two cows were used to explain how economic models work. Using the cows as an example, each photo illustrated different scenarios about what would happen to the cows under a specific economic model. This approach effectively gave the simplest definitions of these models in layman’s terms – and it didn’t hurt that there’s some humor incorporated in there too.
Pretty simple and amusing, isn’t it?
