Shocked Dog Owner Finds Hot Dogs Stuffed With Razor Blades In The Yard

If you are a dog owner, this could be your worst nightmare. Apparently, a woman from Regina, Saskatchewan in Canada found hot dogs in her yard – and they were stuffed with razor blades.

Emma Medeiros shared that she went out in the yard to take Pandora and Ophelia, her two pets, for a bathroom break.

According to Emma, she suddenly noticed several pieces of meat on the ground.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Emma said:

“It was super nice out so I decided to sit on the front patio while they go do their business, until I noticed my border collie Ophelia sniff a piece of meat that was in the yard.”

She, however, felt something was strange about it since it had a bit of a shine.

When she gave it a closer look, her “stomach just dropped.”

Emma shared:

“My worst fear as being a dog owner — there were sharp shards of metal in it…

“I don’t think I have ever been so shocked in my life. It astounds me that someone would want to hurt my precious dogs, or any dog in that manner.”

She eventually posted a video on her Facebook page so as to warn other pet owners about it.

She wrote:

“Im not sure where to post this but I took my fur babies out for a peee this morning and happened to notice some hot dog in my yard, which is very unusual. So I went up to the pieces and it turns out there’s a bunch of razor blades in each piece…. I’m located on 6th & queen so anyone around me, PLEASE CHECK YOUR YARDS!!!!”

The video has since gone viral after the story was picked up by different websites and news outlets.

“It could have been someone’s child playing out front and not knowing any better and sticking that in their mouth,” Emma pointed out. “It’s terrible to think of.”

Emma has also reported the matter to the police and to the Regina Humane Society.
