"I can never see myself stopping this – however old I get my feet will always be able to make me money."
The internet offers a lot of things. In fact, you can even find dozens of unconventional ways to pay the bills. Yes, unconventional!
Just take Instagrammer from London named Roxy Sykes, for example. The social media star bizarrely makes money by selling her socks and shoes to her followers! Take note, these are used items and not brand new.
After someone complimented her “gorgeous” feet, Roxy realized that she could break her way into the unusual erotic industry. The 33-year-old property-investor then decided to launch an Instagram page to find out if there were other people who will be interested in her feet as well.
In just a month, Roxy got her answer as she reached over 10,000 followers on Instagram. She then started selling her used sneakers and socks on the popular social media platform, believing that she finally found the secret to earning big money on the internet.
She said:
“I didn’t show my face or anything at first, so I knew people were just interested in me for my feet, so it didn’t feel too personal. But when I started selling, I got a real buzz from it and realized just how much I could make from selling shoes and socks from time to time.”
Aside from selling her used items, Roxy also meets up with clients, who would then take photos of her feet.
She said:
“I realized how much money I could truly make on my busiest month, where I saw over £8000 (approx. $10,500.00) come in just for videos, socks, and shoes. Now I can never see myself stopping this – however old I get my feet will always be able to make me money.
Roxy has been in the foot fetish business for four years now and is able to earn over $100,000 a year. Wanting to put something back into the industry that has given her so much, Roxy says she is now mentoring the fetish models of tomorrow.
