Fierce Genius Turned Airpods Into Earrings So You’ll Never Lose Them

Anyone who owns Airpods knows the pain of keeping them in sight. Without wires to hold them together, it’s easy to lose these pricey earphones. However, one truly fierce genius has found an awesome way to make sure they never loses their Airpods while still looking fashionable. They decided to turn the wireless earphones into earrings and has called them “airings”.

Gabrielle Reilly from Virginia is the genius behind the awesome “airings.” The Airpods are secured into a detachable clasp that fastens them into the earrings. All you have to do is pop them in when you want to use them and simply take the earphones out when they need to charge. It’s an amazing invention that no one has ever thought of before.

Reilly’s original tweet shows off how the “airings” work.

Reilly revealed that they came up with the idea because they never wanted to lose their Airpods.

“I absolutely refuse to lose them. My cat ate through two pairs of Beats Bluetooth earphones, and all my other earphones. So I got the AirPods because there was no wire for her to chew, but I still needed something to connect them. So I made earrings. I also have a chain necklace that I used to connect them. It took me maybe around an hour to make the earrings because I had to custom-make the piece that connects the AirPods to the earrings,” Reilly said.
