Genius Dad Draws Open Eyes On His Eyelids So He Can Nap While Watching Over Baby

How do you sneak in some nap time while you’re watching over a baby? That’s a common dilemma among parents, but one dad from China has come up with a unique solution.

The video, presumably taken by his wife, has since gone viral and became part of a compilation featuring hilarious daddy fails as released by China-based site K618.cn.

The funny story has also been picked up by several news websites.

A DailyMail feature, for example, tells us:

“The exhausted man, filmed lying on a bed with his infant son, drew a pair of fake eyes on his eyelids to make the child believe he was still awake.

“The quick-witted father even put on a recording of him singing a nursery rhyme to help put the baby to sleep.

“The baby, thinking he still has his father’s full attention, is also filmed dozing off comfortably as the adult takes a stealthy nap with tissue stuffed in his ears as earplugs.”

Since being posted online, the video has gained millions of views on Weibo.

Other dads featured on the video also showed this careless man who accidentally popped off the baby mannequin’s head during an antenatal class.

Plus there’s this guy who was spotted playing video games on the computer with his son strapped on his chest.
