Gerard Butler, Robin Thicke, And More Celebs Lose Homes In California Wildfires

Ths is devastating.

A Southern California wildfire damaged a lot of properties, leaving people without a home, including celebrities. The Santa Ana winds fueled the fires and pushed them toward Malibu, right in the paths of dozens of stars’ mansions.

Gerard Butler, Robin Thicke, and RHOBH’s Camille Grammer are among the growing list of celebrities who have lost homes to the devastating California wildfire in Southern California. Now, the Kardashians’ hometown of Calabasas has been put under a mandatory evacuation order as the Woolsey Fire continued to rage.

Celebrities took to social media to fret about their luxury homes being in harm’s way, and later, some returned home to find their houses had not been spared.

Gerard Butler said that the incident was a “heartbreaking time across California” as his home burned to ashes.

“Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating,” the “300” star posted Sunday on Twitter, alongside a picture of him standing in front of the remaining rubble. “Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit, and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LAFD. If you can, support these brave men and women at http://SupportLAFD.org.”

In his Instagram story, Butler can be seen walking around his property and said, “Welcome to my home in Malibu.”

Robin Thicke and girlfriend Robin Love Geary documented their evacuation on social media, and Geary later posted on her Instagram story that the couple’s house was gone.

Thicke had previously shared an image of dark smoke clouds filling up the sky near where the couple lived, writing, “Our home is just to the left! Praying.”

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer also revealed Sunday that her home had been destroyed in the California wildfires.

“Sadly my house couldn’t be saved. The courageous firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home,” the reality star posted to Instagram, alongside a photo of her house ablaze. “I thanked the fire captain and his team of firemen for all of their hard work. He took the time to explain what happened and I’m grateful for all of their hard work trying to save my home.”
