The holiday season is already here: a time for sharing and gift-giving. Well, aside from gift ideas, we could easily run out of gift wrapping techniques too. However, we need not to worry about how to wrap those gifts, a Japanese technique of wrapping gifts is now going viral on Social Media because it’s easy to do and is perfect for your last minute holiday preparation.
While wrapping gifts has had a long history to it, the wrapping paper was only commercialized in the early 1900s. Centuries ago, people would wrap gifts in cloth, like in Japan, where the Furoshiki cloth was used. Today, after many centuries, it is still the Japanese who has perfected wrapping gifts making the process easier and simple.
This gift wrapping technique already went viral a couple of years back showing a man wrapping a gift in a Japanese department store. It seems easy to do looking at that video but this new video from Beat the Bush explained and showed the tips on how to do it right.
So if you have a couple of gifts to wrap, get those gifts now, some wrapping paper, adhesive tape and watch how easy it is to wrap those surprises in the video below.
