Simple but stunning.
Do you love reading inspirational quotes?
I particularly read inspirational quotes on Mondays to jumpstart my week. They serve as my guiding force to reach my weekly goals and tasks.
London-based graphic designer Kyle Robertson was tasked by a creative agency to turn inspirational quotes by famous people from different industries like Bill Gates, Mark Twain, Albert Einstein, and Sir Richard Branson to typographic prints.
Given the freedom to transform the beautiful words into his very own typography art, Robertson utilised only a few families of typefaces and printed them in black and white for a “clean, bold and engaging” appeal.
In case you’re wondering, he used Tungsten, Knockout, Ideal Sans, Archer, Calendas Plus, and Brandon Grotesque as typefaces.
Robertson’s finished artworks were used to dress the walls of the agency’s office in order to inspire and motivate their staff as well as clients.
“Designing a suite of typographic prints to hang on the walls felt like a good way to cheer up the hardworking staff and the visiting clients,” he said.
