Husband Carries Disabled Wife On His Back To Show Her The World
A Chinese man took his vows to heart and went above and beyond for his beloved wife. When Wang Xiaomin promised to be there for his wife for sickness and in health, he truly meant it.
The 57-year-old was recently spotted carrying his disabled wife on his back, going down from the summit of Huangshan, a Unesco World Heritage Site located in Anhui province. It is one of the most important tourist destinations in the country.
Wang strapped his wife to his back using a harness so they could travel and see places together.
He said:
“The world is so big, and I want to take her to see it so that she will not leave with any regrets … I want to give her a more meaningful life.”
Five years ago, Wang’s wife, who remained unnamed, was diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND), what heavily affected the nerves in her spinal cord and brain. MND left the Chinese man’s wife unable to walk.
The Chinese couple does not have children, so they use their money to travel.
Wang shared:
“I know there isn’t a big hope of her recovering from this kind of disease, so I brought her on a trip to see the world.”
The loving husband shared that he and his wife already visited the Hoxhil in the Tibetan mountains and Potala Palace in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet. The couple has yet to choose their next destination.
Wang can be seen smiling proudly as he carried his disabled wife around.
Instead of staying at home and giving up, Wang took matters into his own hands and became the best husband that he could be to his wife.
If this is not true love, then we don’t know what is.
