It looks like any other class performance but when "Wrecking Ball" played in the background, we knew we were in for a treat!
High school graduations are always bittersweet. Whilst it is the day that marks the completion of one chapter in our academic lives, it is also the day when we have to part ways from friends who we have grown up with. College is a big world, it a whole new environment so bidding high school goodbye also means we are shying away from our comfort zones.
This is probably the reason why high school graduation ceremonies are always serious and melodramatic. But for the Class of 2015 of Kahuku High and Intermediate School, high school graduation is a time to get crazy and commemorate their young lives in a way that the entire school will never forget.
In this video, the students initially belted out a serious song, just like in any ceremonies. But then modern tunes such as “Wrecking Ball,” “Uptown Funk” and “See You Again” suddenly played in the background and the students started moving with it in a synchronized fashion that is so wonderful to watch.
