Keanu Reeves Shows Off Impressive Motorcycle Collection And Company

We already know that Keanu Reeves is an all-around good guy. The beloved actor recently made sure that his fellow passengers got a scenic bus tour when they were all stranded after their flight was delayed. However, Reeves also has an appropriately rebellious streak. A new video shows the John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum star showing off his impressive motorcycle collection and discussing his own motorcycle company.

In the video, Keanu Reeves admits that he has always been drawn to motorcycles as a child. However, it wasn’t until 1986 that he purchased his first motorcycle. The love for the machines led to Reeves co-founding his own motorcycle company Arch Motorcycles, which builds and sells customized motorcycles.

Reeves is quite modest about his collection. He does admit that he has a 1973 Norton MK2A Commando 850 which he claims has “a great sound” and “smells good when it heats up the oil.” Not surprisingly, Reeves confesses that he “got a lot of miles on that motorcycle.”

Another impressive machine in Reeves’ collection is the green Ducati 998 that Carrie-Anne Moss famously rode in The Matrix Reloaded. Although Reeves says that Matrix directors the Wachowskis originally had the bike, he is proud to be considered the custodian of the special Ducati.

Reeves also shared an awesome story about how he and the late River Phoenix rode a bike for the film My Own Private Idaho. “The gentleman came out with a canary yellow Norton and the guy was like, ‘You know this bike?'” before trying to show Reeves how to ride it.

The actor, who already owned two Norton motorcycles at the time, calmly told him, “I got it.”

In case you’re wondering, Keanu Reeves will be riding a motorcycle again in his latest movie and it involves an impressive action sequence. Reeves declined to share too many details but stated, “Yeah, I rode [a bike] in ‘John Wick 3’.”
