Kids Answer Simple Questions Yet The Messages They Relay Are So Profound

"What do you want to be when you want to grow up?"

“What do you want to be when you want to grow up?” It’s such a common question that most of us has encountered during our youth. However, as time flew by us and we experienced life’s ups and downs, we adults have shed our youthful innocence and simple perspective in life.

In a video created by Upworthy, young children were asked about what they want to be when they grow up. Some of the answers were pretty simple, while others were quite far-fetched, which, as expected, was a reflection of their youthful and innocent thought process. However, some of the observations voiced out by the kids were a direct reflection of how our society has evolved, and what they have described is not a pretty picture.
