We all have a favorite color that adorns most of our stuff. But 52-year old Kitten Kay Sera has let the color pink do more than just adorn her stuff. She lets it dominate everything she owns!
As the official “pinkest person” (an honor given to her by Ripley’s Believe It or Not, no less), Kitten has spent over a million dollars making sure that she is constantly surrounded by her favorite color. Everything is pink in her Hollywood home – from her carpet, to her bathroom, to her bed, and even to her dog, Miss Kisses.
Kitten says,
“I consider myself proudly to be a flamingo in a world of pigeons. I am the world’s pinkest person and my life is devoted to color. Some people think I am weird, but frankly, I am fierce and fabulous!”
And fierce and fabulous she indeed is, Kitten has become quite the celebrity. She works as a character actress, singer, and TV personality. Aside from that, she also collaborates in photo shoots featuring big-name stars like Paris Hilton, Ruby Rose, and Ellen Von Uwerth. Fashion houses like Moschino even ask her for permission to use her pink home for photo shoots.
Kitten realized her extreme love of all things pink in her late teens. “I gave all my other clothes away,” she explains, “My family thought it was a phase, but I am starting my fourth decade of pink power and am not looking back!”
She says that the experiment made her realize how much money she spent on clothes she never wore because they didn’t suit her complexion. She figured that wearing just one color made her feel strong and took the stress out of deciding what to wear.
Kitten goes on to exclaim,
“Wearing pink makes me stand out. I always feel alive and happy in it, and pink is never drab. You only live one life, and I want mine to be remembered and count, so I am the Pink Lady of the World!”
