Norwegian boy Lasse Ankersø used 30,000 Lego bricks and created an awesome Titanic replica in 384 hours.
Although its end was eventually tragic, the RMS Titanic is probably the most famous ship in the world. It was the largest of its kind when it was first created measuring at 882 feet in length and 104 feet in height.
Aside from it being mentioned in numerous history books, the ill-fated ship also has its own movie which later became a runaway hit on the blockbuster – thanks in part to the performance of lead stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet and directorial genius of James Cameron. At one point, it even held the title of being the highest-grossing film of all time.
Recently, one boy from Norway attracted a lot of online attention when he decided to take his love
One boy decided to take his love for the popular ship to the next level – by creating a massive replica using Lego pieces!
Using a program in his laptop as a guide, the boy proceeded with the massive project that he worked on day and night. Seeing the end result is absolutely impressive. It’s pretty amazing how he was able to capture the overall look of the ship.
If that’s not called dedication, then we don’t know what else is.
Now that’s a lot of Lego! Considering how expensive these toys usually are, you can just imagine how much this ship cost Lasse – or his parents.
The boy wanted his tribute to look as close to the real thing as possible.
Which makes it the biggest Lego recreation of the ship so far.
He also uploaded a time lapse video which has attracted almost 3 million views as of this writing.
Kudos to this creative and dedicated Norwegian Lego builder for this awesome achievement!
