With great power comes a law degree!
Perhaps nothing is as exciting in a student’s life as that day when he or she can finally attend the graduation ceremony and accept that hard-earned degree. It’s definitely a moment of victory and great relief!
One law school student recently went viral when he attended his ceremony in style. As you will see on the photos and video below, this dude rocked a Spider-Man outfit as he received his law degree.
A LadBible report tells us that the guy in the superhero costume is Hiram Yahir Salas Romero of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez in Mexico. According to the 22-year-old law student, he wanted to make the ceremony a bit lively so we went ahead and dressed as everyone’s favorite wall-crawling crimefighter.
This was, of course, despite the fact that students were required to wear formal suits and ties during the occassion. Much like a real superhero, Romero managed to sneak in his costume.
Romero later shared about the experience:
“None of the authorities said anything. They just looked at me unhappily. I don’t remember if the Rector said anything, but I think I got a smile out of him.”
Meanwhile, he said he loves the Marvel superhero mainly because he is a “human with problems but also with the desire to help people with his special powers and intellect.”
Aside from donning the spandex, Romero also carried a sign that said “For the love of my life, my mother.”
Besides, his supportive mother not only put him through law school but also paid for his costume. What a cool mom!
Well congrats to you, Spidey. May your webline never break wherever you decide to swing by!
