A student is going through multiple surgeries to achieve his dream of becoming a real-life elf.
Many of us fancy to transform into the t.v. personalities we idolize. There’s this guy who transformed himself into a “Genderless Alien” and another one who turned himself into a Dragon. However, one student from Argentina is working to become an elf. And just like the many real-life Barbies appearing from different parts of the world, this man is getting several procedures to help him achieve the look that he deeply desires.
A 26-year-old student from Buenos Ares, Argentina named Luis Padron has been undergoing surgeries to look like an elf. The latest procedures he had to go through included a vampire-style hair transplant with the use of his own blood. The operation happened earlier this month where Luis had to travel to Beverly Hills, California so he can be a step closer to becoming his fantasy being.
The procedure involved implanting over two thousand hair follicles as well as injecting stem cell platelet rich plasma in Luis to give him a ‘widows peak’ and stimulate his hair growth. This single procedure has cost him a whopping $12,000!
After this hair transplant, Luis has already spent around $46,000 total in trying to become elf-like. However, there are still at least eight procedures that he has to go through to complete his desired look. Furthermore, Luis has to shoulder a $5,120-a-month ritual including applying specialist creams, dyes, treatments and SPF100 sunscreen.
In the past, Luis had already gone into several surgeries like liposuction on his jaw, rhinoplasty, full body hair removal and medically unapproved operations to change his eye colour. When he was 14, he said he was already determined to get operations but it was only after six years when he went under the knife for the first time.
In the future, Luis is planning to go into surgery to make his ears pointed, get hair implants for a heart-shaped hairline and have a limb lengthening operation to make him 6ft 5. Luis told about his dream:
“I want to be an elf, an angel and a fantasy being, my aim is to look inhuman, ethereal, graceful and delicate.
According to Metro, Luis revealed that his desire to look like his favorite fantasy character started when he was bullied as a child for dying his hair and dressing “differently.” As an escape, he said he had submerged himself into fantasy movies like “Labyrinth” and “The NeverEnding Story” which also became his inspiration for his looks.
“People have stared at me ever since I was a teenager, so it’s very normal to me now. I like people staring at me and don’t care what they think.”
“Even when I’m not dressed up like an elf people stare at me. I have had long white hair for five years, I use larger contact lenses and I am very tall…I use make-up to enhance my features so they are more angelic and wear clothing that’s more stylish or antique.”
Luis revealed how he feels like a “trans-species” and dresses up to become more like an elf or an angel. He also shared how he managed to start a cosplay item business and mold a modeling career with his looks where the profit he earns is the one he uses to support his transformation dream.
“I consider myself trans-species, in the same way transgender people feel, I need to become how I feel inside, I don’t expect people to understand but I ask they respect it.”

“I started with cosplay but it wasn’t enough, I wanted to change to become my own perception of beauty.”
Luis doesn’t want to consider his dream as an obsession but a way for him to feel good about himself. He said:
“I don’t consider this an obsession, but a lifestyle, for me reality is cruel, but in fantasy you have all of the hope, love, friendship and good feelings.
This helps me to feel like a good person but in fantasy you have to be beautiful not only on the inside but the outside too.”
“This has changed my life for good in so many ways, I can’t even begin to describe it.”
