Man Locked Inside Cinema After Falling Asleep While Watching ‘Avengers: Endgame’

“Avengers: Endgame” is considered to be one of the best films ever created in movie history. With this in mind, it is safe to say that the last installment of the popular franchise is highly successful and very well received by fans.

Viewers lined up for hours just to watch “Avengers: Endgame.” Some even took leave from work to be in the cinema as early as possible. Clearly, MCU fans would do anything to experience and be a part of the finale — except for one man.

At 3 hours and 58 seconds, “Avengers: Endgame” is the longest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s history. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had warned fans that there is no time to pee during the film.

But apparently, for one man in China, there’s so much time in “Avengers: Endgame” to take a nap.

After hearing great reviews about the film, the 23-year-old bought a ticket for a 9:00 pm screening, and it didn’t take too long for him to start dozing off.

When the man woke up, he was shocked to find that the movie had already ended and that he’s the only one left in the cinema. Although he found the door, it was locked and he had no way to open it. Fortunately for the guy, he had his phone with him and called the cops for help.

Since all the exits were locked, the police had no way to rescue the man inside. So they decided to call the security guard, who later contacted the staff of the cinema and opened the door.

Being one of the most highly-anticipated films of all time, netizens were shocked that someone fell asleep while watching “Avengers: Endgame.”
