Man Tells Cop He Can’t Wear Mask Because of Asthma, Cop Shows Him His Own Inhaler

So many excuses have been made by people who refuse to wear a face mask even if it’s for their own protection during the coronavirus pandemic. A lot of them say they couldn’t breathe properly with a face covering. This man in the UK gave asthma as an excuse, which didn’t sell to the cop who confronted him.

The cop, who was wearing a mask, called out the man for being out in public with an exposed face. The scene was captured on video and posted on Reddit.

The footage shows the man attempting to show his inhaler to the cop as he was being questioned for not wearing a mask.

In response, the cop pulled out his own inhaler, showing that he too is an asthmatic.

The man was allegedly wearing headphones when the police was trying to get his attention. He then goes on to accuse the cop of assaulting him, as the latter was touching him to call his attention.

He suggested that he can exempt himself from society’s laws at will, and referred to himself as a “sovereign being.” The conversation went on in circles, with the man repeatedly asking why he was being detained even though the cop has already said many times that people are supposed to wear a mask.

The frustrated cop went on to call the man a “smart ass” and asked him to leave, which the man surprisingly refused to do. The cop ended up saying “You need to grow up, mate” to the hard-headed offender.

Comments on Reddit mostly sided with the cop, saying that the man was being a “Karen” for his attitude.
