McDonald’s is the world’s biggest and most popular fast food chain. Everything they advertise on TV, we surely want to try. But I guess, not everything is worth tasting, as some of the McDonald’s food crew reveal the dish that you should never order, and they do have a point.

If you are worried that it will be the fries, then you can relax now. You don’t have to fret too because it’s not our favorite quarter-pounder. You can still indulge in the chicken meals and ice cream desserts too. Apparently, the only dish you have to avoid is McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish.

A Reddit discussion asked restaurant workers to share what items on their menu people should avoid. All the McDonald’s workers who answered to the post agreed that the fish burger is never a good choice. Actually, you still can, only if you know how to order it correctly. A worker explained:

“At McDonald’s just say you want a fish filet cooked to order.”

But if you really insist, ask the crew to serve it to you cook to order.

The McDonald crew advises everyone to have the fish filet cooked to order and that the only difference is you have to wait for another five minutes before the meal is served. It’s totally worth the wait though as it will be served fresh to you “compared to the filet that has been in the heated cabinet for hours.”

A former employee of McDonald’s agreed, swearing that “filet of fish is not fresh by any stretch of the imagination.” A commenter has however asked the fast food chain’s crews if they would really make something fresh to order, and a staff member explained that they’re in fact under obligation to do so, writing:

“As long as you’re willing to wait we pretty much had to make it…Same with fries without salt.”
