Woman Told She Couldn’t Have Children Gives Birth To Miracle Albino Baby

All human pregnancies are tiny miracles on their own. However, one woman had a truly miraculous pregnancy when she gave birth to a little albino baby. After all, doctors had already told her she was infertile and it would be impossible for her to have children.

Shannon Conarty of Harrogate, North Yorkshire was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) when she was only 15 years old. Unfortunately, this meant that she might be unable to conceive naturally due to cysts in her fallopian tubes. Shannon was already resigned to the idea that she might not be able to have children. However, she and her partner Tom were able to conceive an adorable miracle baby they named Ava.

Shannon had almost given up on having children before she had her adorable little miracle.

Ava is truly special considering that she was born to a woman who had been told she might never have children. However, the other thing that makes her a tiny miracle is the fact that she was born with albinism.

Albinism is a rare congenital disorder where a baby is born with skin, hair, and eyes that have little or no color. It affects around one in 17,000 people in the UK and only about one in 18,000 to 20,000 people in the United States. This certainly confirms that Ava is truly a little miracle baby.

Shannon is truly proud of her adorable infant. “Ava feels like a little miracle, and even more so after she was diagnosed with albinism,” she said.

Baby Ava is perfectly healthy although she may develop vision problems in the future.

Although Shannon loves the attention her baby is getting, she is also aware that Ava’s condition could be difficult when she grows older.

“Every time we leave the house, people comment how beautiful she is. But despite the admiring remarks, I do worry about her when she gets older,” she said.

Albinism could usually lead to vision problems and Shannon is concerned that little Ava will be bullied when she finally goes to school. However, considering how she got her start in life, this miracle baby is destined to conquer anything the world throws at her.
