Mondelez Is Now Hiring A Chocolate Taster For $14.20 An Hour

Mondelez International, the parent company of Cadbury, Milka, and Oreo, has posted about the job on their official website. The position, according to the ad, is for those looking for a part-time gig.
According to the company:
“Our Chocolate Tasters are key in helping Mondelez perfect and launch an entirely new product all over the world by tasting and providing feedback just like our consumers. You will work alongside approximately 11 Chocolate Tasters and a panel leader; sharing opinions and collaborating with others to reach an agreement on taste. No experience is required as full training will be provided to develop your taste buds and the specific vocabulary required to communicate your opinions.”
As for the requirements, it is important that the applicants have:
A passion for confectionary and taste buds for detection
Honesty when it comes to giving opinion
Eager to try new inventive products
A communicative personality to build great relationships with your panel
A firm grasp of the English Language
Mondelez, however, specified that individuals who may have “any dietary restrictions” or “allergies to certain foods” are not encouraged to apply since the products may contain gluten, nuts, and dairy.
Tracy, who works as a chocolate panellist for Mondelez, shared in an interview:
“I really love my job, it suits my lifestyle and all my friends are naturally quite envious!
“I really look forward to the sessions, there is a lot more to being a Chocolate Taster than you might think, we have to identify really slight differences in smell, texture and even how the chocolate feels in your mouth.”
