Tiffany Dover, a nurse manager from Catholic Health Initiatives Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, made news last week after she fainted midway through a television interview shortly after she was given the COVID-19 vaccine.

Rumors have surfaced that she has died and a screenshot of a website claiming that there are death records of Dover’s passing away was even shared on social media.

But it turns out that the nurse is still alive and doing well, which puts to rest fears that she died because of the vaccine. The CHI hospital confirmed that Dover has recovered from the incident. It was explained that she has an underlying condition that makes her faint whenever she experiences pain.

Dover herself clarified this when she spoke with WRCB Chattanooga just after she passed out.

“I feel fine now, and the pain in my arm is very minimal, actually,” she said.

The hospital even tweeted an update on December 19 about Dover’s condition.

“Nurse Tiffany Dover appreciates the concern shown for her. She is home and doing well. She asks for privacy for her and her family,” the tweet said.

As further proof, the hospital also shared a video showing Dover and her colleagues, with some of them holding signs that says “Nursing Leadership Supports Tiffany” and “#CHIMemorialStrong.”

Karen Long, a spokesperson for the hospital, released a statement, saying that the CHI appreciates the ongoing concern by the media and the community.

“We are aware of the multitude of false information circulating on social media about Tiffany Dover. We created the video because our nursing leadership wants the public to know of their support of Tiffany and to clear up many of the circulating rumors,” the hospital said.

Facebook users made a stir reporting about the nurse’s alleged death, also citing her lack on recent activity on Instagram. One of the comments said that “There is reports Tiffany Dover is dead. She is the nurse who collapsed on live television when being interviewed about the vaccine.”
