The Reason Why This Old Couple Shares a Meal Will Make You Laugh

When a couple decides to be together, it means they are willing to share almost everything, and sharing means giving what you have to provide for your partner.

Now, there’s a story about an old couple who literally share everything, and it’s not just their meals.

It was a cold night when an old couple decided that they do not want to cook their dinner for a change, so they went to the nearest McDonald’s. Since they were past their golden years and were holding each others hands, some of the customers just admired how the couple was.

One onlooker said, Look at that couple. They may be old but they’re still romantic to each other.

Another customer said, They look very old, I think they’ve been together for more than half a century.

After the husband took her wife to their seat, he went to the counter to order their meal. He got a piece of hamburger, French fries and one drink.

When he went back to their table, he cut the hamburger in half, divided the French fries into two piles and started eating. His wife took a sip of the drink and watched her husband eat the hamburger.

As the husband started eating his piece, one of the customers became restless and felt pity for the couple.

That poor old couple. All they can afford is one meal for the two of them.

A young man, then stood up and came over to the couple’s table. He offered to order another set of meal but the old man said that they were just fine. He said,

Don’t worry about us kid, we’re used to sharing everything together.

When the young man went back to his own seat, he noticed that the old woman was just looking at her husband while they take turns sipping the drink.

As the old man finished eating, he then wiped his mouth with a napkin, while his wife was still looking at him. The young man cannot take hold of himself, went back and offered to buy food again but only to be politely refused. Curious and wondering, he then asked the old lady,

Ma’am, why aren’t you eating? You said that you share everything. What is it that you are waiting for?

The woman said,

The teeth.
