Pet Groomer Accidentally Cuts Off Poor Dog’s Tongue During A Hair Cut

Pet owner Vanda Souza was definitely unhappy about her experience at a local pet salon in Sao Paulo, Brazil. During their visit, she asked for grooming servies for her pup Scott.

The poor pooch ended up “weeping in pain” after a groomer accidentally cut off a portion of his tongue. So you can just imagine how angry Vanda got because of the horrible incident.

In a Facebook post, Vanda wrote:

“Today we took him for a trim, and when I went to pick him up, this is what I came across. They cut his tongue. My heart can’t take all this sadness. I even paid for this because they charged me. Unbelievable!”

According to Vanda, has always been a cheerful animal but the incident has clearly left him traumatized, tearing up in “pain and fear.”

“He still hasn’t eaten or even drunk. Take care of your animals. Take them to whoever does their job lovingly,” shared Vanda. “My Scott, my boy, my four-legged son, I want justice.”

Vanda’s post has since gone viral on social media, receiving thousands of reactions and shares. Numerous netizens expressed sympathies for the pup and some pointed out that the pet groomer should indeed be held accountable for the misdeed. Others likewise commented that Vanda should not have been charged for the grooming after what happened.

So far, the name of the pet shop has not been specified by news sources but it has been reported that the owner is “very upset” about the incident.
