Pregnant Moms Pose as Disney Princesses for Photo Shoot and it’s Truly Magical!

We all basically grew up watching Disney princesses but have you ever heard about the Disney preggies? Well as you can see on the images below, a group of pregnant women did a beautiful photoshoot dressed up as our favorite Disney fairy-tale characters.

The photos turned out to be totally adorable and completely magical! As it appears, the pictures were taken by the husband-and-wife tandem of photographers Vic and Marie.

There’s magic at work…

In a Pop Sugar feature, we learn that the married couple “got their start after learning that they couldn’t have children of their own.” Marie, who longed to be a mother, thought that being a maternity and newborn photographer was “most likely the closest way that she could cuddle sweet little ones.”

After a year, the couple experienced an unexpected emotional hardship – they were about to suffer a miscarriage at 8 weeks. It took time for them to recover and afterwards, they decided they wanted to do something creative.

Vic and Marie eventually took inspiration from the new Beauty and the Beast movie.

They hoped to do a project “that captured the love between Belle and the Beast,” Pop Sugar reported.

As Marie shared:

“We wanted to go outside of that box, something no one had tried to do as of yet, and then it hit me, why not do all of the princesses in a group shot, expecting sweet little babies, and showing off their beautiful bump in a creative way?

“It was a fun project for me being a huge fan of classic stories and movies I grew up to and it was a fun project for Vic because it allowed him to do something he normally doesn’t get the chance to do often.”

Later on, the pair managed to gather a group of pregnant women and so they were able to turn their imagination into reality.

According to Marie:

“We hope that expecting mamas that see these sweet photos of mommies in a completely different way than what is normally photographed and will give them the inspiration to want to hire a photographer to take some beautiful maternity photos!

“It’s such a sweet and beautiful moment in your life, a moment that not many can experience, and a moment that should be celebrated!”
